Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 15 is seeing a sales dip in China, lagging behind iPhone 14, according to a report from Bloomberg News. Counterpoint Research reported a 4.5% decline in sales for the iPhone 15 within the first 17 days post-launch.
Jefferies analysts commented on the matter, suggesting the decline could be even more significant, in the double digits. Factors like China’s economic challenges and competition, notably from Huawei, are affecting Apple’s sales.
Counterpoint predicts Huawei’s Mate 60 Pro sales might reach 5 to 6 million this year and potentially double in 2024. Jefferies noted Huawei surpassing Apple in the market, indicating a potential continued lead over iPhone in the coming years, with global iPhone shipments expected to decrease.
